This
HBM is equipped with RAM and movable column. It will be completely
geometrically rebuilt, modernized, and equipped with latest CNC
SIEMENS SINUMERIK 840 D numerical control in all it's axes, ready
for inspection and delivery second part of 2006. In the end the
machine will practically be as new. The AFP 230 is a most robust
machine of high rigidity, offering specific technical solutions.
Ram and spindle travel on the Z and W axes are cumulating to 3250
mm. The machine is preferably designed for milling, drilling,
boring and lathing operations of large work pieces made from cast
iron, steel, or other materials, both in roughing and finishing. |
